Orange City

O-City is a transnational project developed under Erasmus + program (Knowledge Alliance) mainly addressing universities and their students and teachers, enterprises, and cities.

The 13 O-City project partners seek to:

1. Discover, promote and enhance the cultural (material & immaterial) heritage of cities as means to develop deep identity and pride of citizens, and social wellbeing.

2. Encourage Orange Economy by training professionals (experts) in creative technologies so that they integrate this knowledge into existing or new companies. Sectors such as art and culture, anchored in the past, now look towards the future of emerging technologies, thus positioning themselves at the forefront of the orange economy.

3. Modernise Universities and Innovation in teaching and learning methodologies such as project-based learning (PBL), through the CDIO (Conceive, Design, Implement and Operate) initiative for teaching engineering and stimulating teamwork through SCRUM agile methodology.
